Dr. Kal's Skin Clinic – Cancellation & Booking Policy

At Dr. Kal's Skin Clinic, appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. We kindly ask that any cancellations or changes to appointments are made with sufficient notice to allow us to offer the appointment to another patient.

Booking Deposit

A £30 booking deposit is required for online bookings and selected appointments.

This deposit will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice will have their deposit transferred to a future appointment.

Late Cancellations & Non-Attendance

Where less than 48 hours' notice is provided, or where a patient fails to attend an appointment, the following cancellation charges may apply:

• Treatments up to £100: £30 cancellation fee

• Treatments over £100 and under £200: £50 cancellation fee

• Treatments costing £200 or more: £70 cancellation fee

Patients Who Have Paid a Deposit

For patients who have paid the £30 booking deposit:

• The £30 deposit will be retained by the clinic.

• Where the applicable cancellation fee exceeds £30, the remaining balance may be requested before future appointments can be booked.

Existing Patients Without a Deposit

For existing patients who have booked follow-up appointments without paying a deposit, the full cancellation fee will apply if less than 48 hours' notice is given or if they fail to attend.

Any outstanding cancellation fees must be settled before further appointments can be booked.

Repeat Late Cancellations or Missed Appointments

Patients who repeatedly cancel appointments at short notice or fail to attend may be required to pay a booking deposit for all future appointments.

Dr. Kal's Skin Clinic reserves the right to decline future bookings where there is a history of repeated late cancellations or nonattendance.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Such situations will be considered at the discretion of the clinic.
